Diner Journal Issue #16

Diner Journal is a beautifully designed publication put out by the folks from Diner (a cozy restaurant in South Williamsburg with a thoughtful menu that changes daily and with the seasons). I have always admired Diner Journal for its truly rich content that is both visually mesmerizing and informative. I am honored to be a part of Issue #16 this month, along with my good friend Annie Novak from Eagle Street Rooftop Farms. We collaborated on a piece called "How to Plant a Seed". Pick up a copy on your way home or order one at thedinerjournal.com

Come celebrate the arrival of Eagle Street Rooftop Farms new chickens on Sunday, May 23rd. Their will be a lecture series on urban chicken keeping at 2pm with an amazing panel of speakers from Just Food, Brooklyn Honey, BK Farmyards, and a very special guest and my friend Mr. Orren Fox whom many of you might know from my other posts about him and his flock of birds! If you are a baker or just a lover of all things pie, then join us afterwards to help raise money for the new chicks in town. Bring along your fav pie and get in free or bring your appetite and eat as much pie as you want for $10! Rooftop Farms is located at 44 Eagle Street BK, NY. Hope to see you there!

Small Favors

This drawing was inspired by my friend Orren Fox. It's for an upcoming show at Giant Robot in New York called "Small Favors". If you're around town come to the opening on March 27th at 6pm. I wish you all a beautiful weekend. I'm headed up to Providence, RI!

"The Bad Words Experiment" was a great success. Here's a peek at my project in action. I apologize for some of the phrases used, but it was the point of the show to use a bad word! Enjoy!
